Refund policy

1. OVERVIEW

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This policy explains when and how you can return items and receive a refund. We follow fair trading practices and operate in line with the Consumer Affairs Authority of Sri Lanka where applicable.


2. ELIGIBILITY FOR RETURNS AND REFUNDS

You may request a return or refund in these cases:

- Faulty or defective goods. The item is damaged, not as described, or does not work as intended.
- Wrong or missing items. You received a different product or part of your order is missing.
- Change of mind (if we allow it). The item is unused, in original packaging, and you contact us within 14 days of delivery. We are not legally required to accept change-of-mind returns; we do so only as stated here.

We may refuse a return if:

- The item has been used, worn, washed, or removed from original packaging (except to check for defects).
- You contact us after the 14-day period (or any longer period we have clearly stated).
- The item is listed below as non-returnable.


3. NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

The following are generally not eligible for return or refund (unless faulty or not as described):

- Perishable goods (e.g. food, flowers).
- Personal care, hygiene, or health-related products (e.g. cosmetics, skincare) once opened or used.
- Gift cards and digital downloads.
- Custom-made or personalised items.
- Items marked as final sale or non-refundable at the time of purchase.


4. HOW TO REQUEST A RETURN OR REFUND

1. Contact us within 14 days of receiving your order (or within 7 days for defective or wrong items). Use the contact method on our website (e.g. email, contact form, or WhatsApp).
2. Provide: Order number, product name, reason for return, and (if possible) photos (e.g. of damage or wrong item).
3. Wait for our reply. We will confirm whether your return is accepted and how to send the item back (if applicable).
4. Return the item (if we ask you to) in the condition and packaging we specify. We may require proof of postage or courier tracking.


5. REFUND PROCESS

- Refunds are made in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) using the same payment method you used (e.g. card, bank transfer, or other method we support).
- Timing: We will process your refund after we receive and check the returned item (if applicable), usually within 7 to 14 business days. Your bank or card issuer may take additional days to show the refund.
- Amount: We refund the price you paid for the returned item(s). Unless the fault is ours (e.g. wrong or defective item), shipping costs may not be refunded; we will confirm this when we approve your return.


6. EXCHANGES

If you prefer an exchange (e.g. different size or colour), tell us when you contact us. Exchanges are subject to the same eligibility and time limits as returns and to product availability.


7. CONSUMER RIGHTS IN SRI LANKA

Nothing in this policy reduces your legal rights. Under Sri Lankan law (including the Consumer Affairs Authority Act), you may have rights regarding goods that do not conform to description, are defective, or do not meet agreed standards.
